Summer readings!

With all of the summer downtime, being out of school, I've been reading like a maniac! Shawn refers to me as his in house 'nerd'. I prefer book worm and highly educated, ha :] Here is the list...so far!

1. Ape House by Sara Gruen: (author of Water for Elephants...highly recommended!!)
Short read and a super cute story of a character's love for the apes she studies and the drama that follows.
2. Maybe This Time by Jennifer Cruise:
I could not put this down. A little bit of a love story with some paranormal activity thrown in :]
3. Sarah's Key by Tatiana De Rosnay:
Two stories in one. Told by a little girl during WWII and an American journalist living in Paris and how their lives become linked. A pretty heavy read but definitely interesting and worth it .

Are you from Tennessee? Cause you're the only TEN I see. HAHA

So it's confirmed...Shawn, Shane, and I will be visiting Shawn's dad and family in Tennessee for a week at the end of the month. What's there to do in Tennessee you may ask. First, I hear the weather is super hot and humid which will surely not be enjoyable...uck.

Well...I'm sure the majority of our time will be spent fishing (accompanied with my adorable pink fishing pole that Shawn loves to ridicule...although I tend to always catch the same amount if more fish. Win for me right?! :]) along with bull frog hunting (fun huh?! baha). I've requested that we visit Nashville and Memphis while we're there. Has anyone been and have any suggestions on things to do or places to visit?
